YUCAIPA, CA (July 27, 2018) – Two vehicles collided on the 10 Freeway in Yucaipa on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, a little bit west of Yucaipa Boulevard.
The time was roughly 4:12 p.m.
California Highway Patrol found a pickup, described as a white GMC, over the side of the road and roughly 50 feet into the gully. Reports say the pickup crashed with an SUV, described as a black Nissan. The SUV was located on the shoulder of the road, on the right side.
Reports also say that airbags were deployed in the collision.
Paramedics were called to the accident scene to provide medical attention to anyone who may have been injured.
The identities of the people involved, and whether anyone suffered injuries and what the type of injuries might be, have not been released.
Investigators are continuing to look into the crash details to determine its causes.
