Women Identified as Two Fatalities in Wasco Crash
WASCO, CA (October 2, 2020) – Yuleny Elizabeth Castrejon Diaz and Martha Rosana Martinez-Rojas were identified by the Kern County coroner’s office as the two people who died in a crash in Wasco. The September 30 incident occurred where McCombs Road and Highway 43 intersect.
The time was roughly 6:26 a.m.
Reports say that the vehicle the two victims had been traveling in collided with another vehicle. No details have been reported on the sequence of events that preceded the crash. It is not known what line of travel each vehicle had been taking prior to colliding.
Neither vehicle has been described.
Responders arrived and pronounced the two victims deceased at the crash site. Diaz was 29. Martinez-Rojas was 31.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash has not been identified in reports, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known if the vehicle contained passengers when the crash occurred.
Reports do not say if others were injured in the crash.
