Man Killed From Gross Vehicular Manslaughter Incident On Palm Drive
Desert Hot Springs, CA (January 2, 2024) – Tyson Rodriguez, a 38-year-old resident of Arcata, is in custody following a fatal car accident on Palm Drive, late Wednesday evening, as reported by the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Tyson Rodriguez Ran A Red Light In His Kia Sorento and Collided With A Ford Focus
The incident occurred on December 20, around 11:43 p.m. Preliminary findings suggest that a northbound Kia Sorento disregarded a red light and collided with an eastbound Ford Focus near Hacienda Avenue.
Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the 59-year-old Ford driver to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead. Authorities are refraining from releasing the victim’s identity until next of kin is notified.
