Spring Valley Crash Traps Driver, Breaks Power Pole and Fences
SPRING VALLEY, CA (September 18, 2020) – On Wednesday night in Spring Valley, a driver was injured when he crashed and became trapped in his vehicle. The September 16 incident occurred on Sandy Bev Lane.
The time was roughly 10:15 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle–which has not been described–broke off a power pole when it crashed, and smashed a number of fences.
Responders arrived and worked to get the patient out of the damaged vehicle. He was transported to a hospital for treatment. He suffered injuries that were described as major.
His current condition is not known. The driver’s identity has not been reported, including his name, age, and city of residence.
Investigators are working to understand what circumstances and factors may have contributed to the crash. It is not yet known why the vehicle went out of the driver’s control.
The owner, or owners, of the damaged fences have not been identified in reports. The investigation is continuing.
