Vehicle Crashes off Highway 101, Strikes Vehicle on S. Bradley Road in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, CA (August 5, 2020) – A crash in Santa Maria over the weekend injured two people. The August 1 incident occurred on Highway 101, and also S. Bradley Road.
Reports say the a vehicle, which has not been described, had been heading south on Highway 101. For reasons that are not known, the vehicle went off the road and crashed through a fence. The vehicle struck another vehicle, which has also not been described, that had been traveling on S. Bradley Road and heading north in the 1500 block.
Responders from Santa Maria Fire arrived on scene to help. Responders took two people to a hospital.
The injuries the people suffered were described as minor to moderate. The identities of the people, including names, ages, gender, and cities of residence, have not been reported.
The current condition of the two patients has not been reported. It is not known from reports who the driver of each vehicle had been at the time of the crash.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened. They are in the process of gathering information about the incident.
