Pedestrian Struck on Marci Way is Trapped under Vehicle in Santa Clarita, CA
SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 16, 2022) – Late at night on Sunday in Santa Clarita, a pedestrian was struck and trapped beneath a vehicle. The February 13 crash occurred on Marci Way, reports say.
The time was roughly 10:00 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
Responders worked to free the person from beneath the vehicle. No details have been reported on how the crash happened.
Responders transported the patient to a hospital in the area. The types of injuries the person suffered are not known, nor the current condition.
The identity of the victim has not been reported.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the vehicle–which has not been described–also hit a building. The amount of damage to the building is not clear.
The driver has not been identified in reports, and it is not known if the person was hurt in the crash.
