Pedestrian Injured by Hit-and-run Driver in San Diego’s Lincoln Park Area
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 9, 2020) – On Sunday night, a hit-and-run driver injured a pedestrian in the area of Lincoln Park in San Diego. The March 8 incident occurred close to where Euclid Avenue and Imperial Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 9:07 p.m., San Diego Police said.
Reports say vehicle—which may have been a Chevrolet Impala, white in color—hit the pedestrian. It is not clear from reports where the pedestrian had been walking, and what the line of travel the vehicle had been taking prior to the crash.
The driver did not stop to help the victim, but left the incident site.
Responders arrived and transported the victim to a hospital. The injuries she suffered have not been described. Her current condition is not known. Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
