Two Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Fwy Near 215 Fwy
Rialto, CA (January 17, 2025) – A multi-car collision on the 10 Freeway near the 215 Freeway claimed the lives of two individuals Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. when the driver of a westbound Ford F-150, for reasons still under investigation, entered the eastbound lanes. The pickup truck collided head-on with a Scion XD and a Tesla Model 3. Several other vehicles, including a silver Toyota Echo and a white Ford Explorer, were also involved in the pileup.
2 People Were Pronounced Dead At The Scene
Two fatalities were reported at the scene. Authorities identified the victims as a 46-year-old woman from Redlands, who was driving the Scion XD, and a 54-year-old man from Grand Terrace, who was behind the wheel of the Tesla Model 3.
The driver of the Ford F-150, whose identity has not been disclosed, has not been charged with a crime as of Tuesday morning.
