Pedestrian Killed by Unlicensed Driver on Orange Grove Blvd. in Pasadena, CA
PASADENA, CA (February 11, 2022) – Early in the evening on Thursday in Pasadena, an licensed driver struck and killed a pedestrian. The February 10 crash occurred where Walnut Street and Orange Grove Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 6:50 p.m., according to police.
Reports say that investigators think the pedestrian may have been going across the road not within a crosswalk that is marked. A vehicle–which has not been described–struck him.
Responders transported the victim to a hospital in the area. He died in the hospital.
His name, age, and city of residence have not been reported.
The person who was driving the vehicle was unlicensed, reports say, and authorities took him into custody before releasing him.
He was identified only as a resident of Pasadena, 46 years old. His name has not been reported.
