Two-vehicles Collide in Pasadena, Breaking Fire Hydrant
PASADENA, CA (January 11, 2019) – Two vehicles collided in Pasadena on Monday evening, causing one of the vehicles to strike a fire hydrant and break it. Water shot into the sky, and flooded the intersection where the accident took place.
The January 7 collision occurred close to where South Oakland Boulevard and East California Avenue intersect, according to Marie Sell. Sell is a lieutenant with the Pasadena Police.
The time was roughly 6:00 p.m.
Reports say that two vehicles—which have not been described—collided. According to Sell, one of the drivers had been in the act of make a turn to the right, in front of another vehicle. The first vehicle was struck, and it ended up hitting the fire hydrant.
The driver of the first vehicle was identified only as a woman. Her name, age, and city of residence have not yet been reported. It is not known if she suffered any injuries in the accident, and if anyone else had been traveling with her when the crash occurred.
The driver of the second vehicle, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence have not yet been reported. It is not known if the person suffered any injuries, and if anyone else had been an occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
