Multiple Vehicles Crash on Highway 99 in Bakersfield near Rosedale Highway
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, multiple vehicles collided in Bakersfield on Highway 99, causing damage and road blockage. The early afternoon crash occurred close to Rosedale Highway, on the southbound side of Highway 99.
The time was roughly 1:50 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
As many as four vehicles collided. None of the vehicles have been described.
Reports also do not describe how the crashes occurred, nor the sequence of the crashes that affected each vehicle.
According to reports, no one was injured in the incident. The identity of each driver has not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand how and why the crashes happened. They are in the process of collecting information.
