Two Killed, Two Injured in Crash on Ramona Avenue in Montclair
MONTCLAIR, CA (February 10, 2020) – On Saturday night, a collision in Montclair killed two people and injured two others. The February 8 incident occurred where Howard Street and Ramona Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 10:30 p.m., Montclair Police said.
Reports say two vehicles—described as a sedan and an SUV—collided, but the manner in which the collision occurred has not been described.
Responders arrived and pronounced the person who had been driving the sedan and a passenger in the sedan deceased at the scene. The people who died were described as a woman 65 years old, and a man 67 years old. Their names and cities of residence have not been reported.
Responders transported a boy, five years old—who had been a passenger seated in a car seat in the sedan—to a hospital. The injuries he suffered, and his current condition are not known. He was reported to have suffered injuries that were described as serious.
Responders also transported the person who had been driving the SUV to a hospital. The driver suffered injuries that were described as serious.
The driver was identified only as a man 32 years old and a resident of Garden Grove. His name has not been reported. According to reports, the driver of the SUV may have been impaired.
