MADERA, CA (November 18, 2024)– A man lost his life in a tragic pedestrian accident early Monday morning near Cleveland Avenue and Highway 99, according to the Madera Police Department.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. when a minor driving a vehicle struck an unhoused man who was pushing a shopping cart in the traffic lane. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the driver waiting for authorities and the injured pedestrian on the ground.
