Crash in Watts Area Injures 2, Damages House In Los Angeles, CA
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 30, 2022) – Early in the morning on Thursday in Los Angeles, a crash in the Watts area injured two people and damaged a house. The June 30 crash occurred close to where 111th Street and Compton Avenue are located.
The time was roughly 2:00 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
According to authorities, a car was going at a fast speed and smashed into a number of cars that were parked and also struck a power pole in the area.
The impact of the crash sent the pole to come down onto the house, which in turn began burning. Power was also knocked out in the vicinity.
Responders took two patients to a hospital for treatment. The injuries they suffered included bones that were broken.
Their current conditions are not known.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, nor have the homeowners whose house was damaged.
Investigators are working to collect details about the crash.
