Suspect Sought By Los Angeles Police For Hit-and-Run Accident in Koreatown
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 22, 2024) — A 29-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Catalina Street near Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown last month, authorities reported. The incident occurred on December 22 around 2:35 a.m.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a newer model white sedan traveling northbound on Catalina Street struck the pedestrian as they were crossing the street. The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
LAFD Paramedics Quickly Transported The Pedestrian To A Nearby Hospital
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics quickly arrived and transported the injured pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries.
The suspect remains at large, and the LAPD Division in Koreatown is actively investigating the case. The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the driver involved.
