Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash On Escondido Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (October 11, 2024)– A woman was injured in a pedestrian hit-and-run accident on Friday evening, October 11, on Escondido Avenue near Kaiser Permanente Way. The crash occurred around 7:00 p.m., according to the Hesperia Police Department.
Authorities report that the woman was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene after the collision. Paramedics responded quickly and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. Her condition remains unknown at this time.
The Suspect Remains At Large According To Authorities
Police are still searching for the suspect, who remains at large. The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run is described as a black or dark-colored SUV with noticeable front-end damage. The driver is believed to be a male.
The Hesperia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect. Witnesses or anyone with information about the crash are urged to contact the police at 760-947-1500.
