Man Killed at Belmont Avenue and Abbey Street In Fresno
FRESNO, CA (October 6, 2024) – A 64-year-old man, identified as Ernest Yetter, was hit and killed by a car at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Abbey Street in Fresno on Sunday afternoon, according to Fresno Police.
The fatal accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, a driver struck Yetter in an alley near the intersection. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Yetter was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities are still working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released further details about the incident.
