HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 7, 2021) – A driver fleeing police pursuit collided with vehicles in Hollywood on Sunday night. The September 5 crash occurred close to where Bronson Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 7:40 p.m., according to Steve Choi. Choi is with the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to reports, a vehicle–described as a Dodge Charger–was pursued by officers as the driver was suspected of DUI. After a minute duration, the pursuit ended with a collision involving multiple vehicles.
None of the vehicles have been described, and the exact number of vehicles involved has not been reported. The manner in which each vehicle was involved in the crash has not been described.
None of the drivers involved in the crash have been identified in reports. It is not known if any passengers were present in any of the vehicles involved in the crash.
According to Nicholas Prange, who is with the Los Angeles Fire Department, no patients were transported to a hospital for treatment. It is not known from reports if anyone was hurt in the crash.
