Los Angeles Driver Crashes into Post Office Vehicle Yard in Hollywood, Injuring Three
HOLLYWOOD, CA (August 23, 2021) – Early in the morning on Saturday, a driver crashed into a post office vehicle yard in Hollywood, injuring three people. The August 21 crash occurred on Selma Avenue in the 6500 block.
A vehicle–described as a Lamborghini, orange in color–crashed into the post office vehicle yard, and knocked down power lines. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the roadway had debris strewn across it.
Responders arrived and found three people who had been traveling in the Lamborghini were hurt. Their injuries were described as minor. None of the occupants were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to reports.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI; the person’s identity has not been reported.
The two passengers have also not been identified, including their names, ages, genders, and cities of residence.
The extent of damage in the post office vehicle yard has not been described.
Investigators are working to collect information about the crash.
