San Luis Obispo Crash at Osos Street and Pacific Street Causes Injuries
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 16, 2021) – Early in the afternoon on Tuesday in San Luis Obispo, a crash caused damage and injuries. The September 14 crash occurred in downtown, where Pacific Street and Osos Street intersect.
The time was roughly 12:30 p.m., San Luis Obispo City Fire Department said.
Two vehicles collided, but the line of travel of each vehicle prior to colliding is not known from reports.
One vehicle overturned, trapping a person inside. The vehicle was described as belonging to the County of San Luis Obispo, and was being driven by a county employee at the time of the crash, according to reports.
Responders from San Luis Obispo Fire worked to free the person from the wreckage. Responders transported the patient to the hospital.
She suffered injuries that were described as minor, reports say. Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The other driver has also not been identified. The person was not hurt in the crash, reports say.
Investigators are working to understand the crash.
