Driver Hospitalized after Car Crashes into Restaurant in Burbank
Burbank, CA (June 3, 2024) – A car crash on Riverside Drive left at least one person injured Monday evening. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred on June 3 at approximately 10:00 p.m. when a white SUV crashed into the Veggie Grill restaurant near Rose Street.
Emergency crews responded quickly and provided aid to individuals inside the restaurant. Reports indicate that an unspecified number of people sustained minor injuries.
Driver of BMW Was Hospitalized With Non Life Threatening Injuries
The driver of the SUV, who was driving a BMW, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized.
In addition to emergency responders, workers from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety arrived at the scene to assess the structure’s integrity.
The LAPD is investigating the cause of the accident and will release further information as it becomes available.
