Valley Center BMW and Lamborghini Crash and Overturn; 2 Injured
VALLEY CENTER, CA (July 15, 2022) – On Tuesday morning in Valley Center, a BMW and a Lamborghini crashed and overturned, injuring two people. The July 12 crash occurred on Valley Center Road.
The time was roughly 9:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
The Lamborghini was traveling on Valley Center Road and heading south in the number 1 lane, authorities said, and the BMW M5 was traveling in the number 2 lane.
For reasons that are not known, the Lamborghini and the BMW crashed, and both of the vehicles rolled over.
Responders transported the person who was driving the Lamborghini by airlift to a hospital in the area. He suffered injuries that were described as major.
He was identified only as 56 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Responders took the person who was driving the BMW by ground transport to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were described as minor to moderate.
The person was identified only as 60 years old. The name, gender, and city of residence of the patient has not been reported.
Investigators are presently collecting details and information regarding the crash.
