Hit-and-Run DUI Crash On La Mesa Road Leads To Arrest
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 16, 2024) – A 49-year-old man was arrested Saturday evening following a DUI crash at the intersection of La Mesa Road and Topaz Road, according to the Victorville Police Department.
The incident occurred around 8:47 p.m. when Alfredo Parga, driving a 2005 Ford E350, collided with another vehicle. Authorities reported that after the crash, Parga attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended a short distance away.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Alfredo Parga Was Booked Into High Desert Detention Center In Adelanto
Parga was taken into custody and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking for assistance from the public.
