FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 13, 2023) – A somber atmosphere enveloped the Sanger Police Department as news spread of the untimely demise of one of their own. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, an off-duty officer, identified as 26-year-old Manvir Dhanoa, tragically lost his life in a single-car crash in Fresno County.
Manvir Dhanoa Was New To The Sanger Police Department
Officer Manvir Dhanoa had recently joined the Sanger Police Department in March 2023, bringing his dedication and enthusiasm to the force. His promising career was cut short in a devastating incident that occurred around 5:30 am on Millerton Road near Sky Harbour Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Officer Manvir Dhanoa was traveling east on Millerton when his vehicle veered off the roadway, resulting in a violent rollover. The force of the crash ejected him from the car, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
