A car ran into a 65 year old man and a four year old from Irvine on Halloween night.
They were crossing the street around 7:15 p.m. Friday evening.
A man driving a Mazda 3 was driving on West Yale Loop near Burwood Street at the time of the accident.
The man and his son were taken to the local trauma center where 65 Year old, John Roger Alcorn died. The four year old is in stable condition. The driver of the Mazda stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
