Hesperia Pedestrian Injured in Father’s Day Collision Outside Texas Roadhouse

Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Car On Mariposa Road
HESPERIA, CA (June 15, 2025) — A pedestrian was seriously injured Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle outside the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on Mariposa Road in Hesperia, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred around 10:12 p.m. on June 15, 2025, just south of Main Street near the entrance to the restaurant.
The Victim Was Quickly Transported To A Nearby Hospital For Treatment
San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from significant injuries. The victim was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Their condition has not been publicly disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle, a silver Kia Rio, remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Authorities said the vehicle sustained visible damage to its windshield and hood from the collision.
Police also noted that debris was scattered across the roadway, including food containers found on the trunk of the Kia.
Mariposa Road Was Closed Temporarily
Northbound Mariposa Road was temporarily closed while deputies from the Hesperia Station conducted an on-site investigation.
No arrests were reported, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Additional details have not yet been released.
