Father’s Day Head-On Crash On Green Tree Blvd Kills One and Critically Injures Another
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 15, 2025) — A head-on collision in Victorville on Father’s Day left one person dead and another critically injured, authorities said.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 4:53 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road, according to the Victor Valley News Group.
Early Reports State That A Cadillac Escalade SUV Crossed Into Oncoming Traffic
Preliminary reports indicate that a westbound Cadillac Escalade SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into a gray Acura sedan traveling eastbound.
Emergency crews from the Victorville Fire Department arrived to find the Acura’s driver suffering from major injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man with severe injuries was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the injured individual was the driver or a passenger in the Escalade.
Authorities Haven’t Ruled Out A DUI Yet
Investigators are working to determine whether impairment may have played a role in the crash. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
