Stanton Man Killed in Huntington Beach Crash Identified
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (April 16, 2025) — Authorities have identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle last week in Huntington Beach as 45-year-old Todd Anthony Wilkins of Stanton, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD).
The deadly collision occurred shortly after midnight at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Talbert Avenue, just north of a nearby cemetery.
Todd Anthony Wilkins Was Struck By A Green Honda CRV
Police say Wilkins was struck by a northbound green Honda CRV driven by a 73-year-old man from Santa Ana. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. When officers arrived, they found Wilkins unconscious in the roadway. Paramedics responded but pronounced him dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
HBPD’s Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is leading the ongoing investigation. Authorities have not yet determined the circumstances that led to the crash.
