Fiery Three-Vehicle Crash in Boyle Heights Claims Life of 26-Year-Old Man

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 22, 2025) – A tragic three-vehicle collision in Boyle Heights claimed the life of 26-year-old Anthony Medina early Saturday morning. The crash occurred at approximately 12:19 a.m. on March 22nd near 513 North Brittania Street, at the Cesar Chavez Avenue off-ramp from the Interstate 10 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Anthony Medina Was Trapped Inside His Car When It Caught Fire

Authorities say Medina became trapped inside his vehicle as it caught fire, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders, including paramedics from the LAFD and police, arrived to assist at the crash site in the East Los Angeles area.

Three other individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not been updated.

Investigators are actively working to determine the cause of the collision and any potential factors that led to the fatal crash.
