Two Injured in Rollover Crash on Barman and Elena Streets
CULVER CITY, CA (March 12, 2025) – Two people were injured following a rollover collision Wednesday morning at the intersection of Barman Street and Elenda Street, authorities reported.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. on March 12, according to the Culver City Police Department. The intersection, which has traffic lights and left-turn signals, became the site of a violent two-vehicle collision involving a Volvo SUV and a Volkswagen SUV.
The Volvo SUV Collided With The Volkswagen SUV Causing It To Overturn
According to initial reports, the eastbound Volvo was traveling along Barman Street when, for reasons still under investigation, it collided with a northbound Volkswagen on Elenda Street. The impact caused the Volvo to overturn near Culver City High School.
Emergency responders arrived to find a woman and a child inside one of the vehicles. The woman was transported to the hospital, while the child was unharmed. Meanwhile, a male occupant from the Volkswagen sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and working to determine fault.
