Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash In Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 8, 2025) — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center following a crash on Bear Valley Road on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:11 p.m. on March 8, 2025, in the westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road, just west of Amethyst Road, near the entrance of a Del Taco restaurant.
Mercy Air Helicopter Transported Motorcyclist In Serious Condition To Trauma Center
According to officials, the motorcycle involved was described as a black bike with a green patch labeled “Oak Hills.” The rider sustained serious injuries and was initially transported to a local hospital before being airlifted by a Mercy Air helicopter to a trauma center for further treatment.
The crash also involved a silver vehicle, which remained at the scene with significant front-end damage. Authorities temporarily closed the westbound lanes at the intersection as they conducted their investigation.
Motorists Were Advised To Avoid The Area While Police Investigate
The Victorville Police Department is actively investigating the cause of the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area as authorities continued their work at the scene.
