Isaiah Martinez Suspected of DUI In Crash That Killed Veronica Flores
Visalia, CA (February 23, 2025) – A suspected DUI crash early Sunday morning claimed the life of 41-year-old Veronica Flores, according to the Visalia Police Department.
The fatal accident occurred on February 23, just after 3:00 a.m., at the intersection of Divisidero Street and Houston Avenue. Authorities say 23-year-old Isaiah Martinez struck Flores before crashing into a light pole.
Veronica Flores Was Transported To A Local Hospital Where She Later Died
Flores sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
Police believe Martinez was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He was arrested and booked into jail.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing. Authorities urge drivers to never operate a vehicle while impaired, as DUI-related crashes continue to pose a significant threat to public safety.
