Victorville Two-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway Leaves One Injured

One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on 15 Fwy Near Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 12, 2024) – A two-vehicle accident on the 15 Freeway south of Bear Valley Road left one person injured Tuesday afternoon, November 12. The crash, which occurred around 3:40 p.m., involved a gray Chevrolet Impala and a 30-foot box truck owned by HD Supply, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials report that the collision forced the box truck into a guardrail, bringing it to a halt sideways on the freeway. The Impala, meanwhile, ended up in a drainage ditch with its driver’s side trapped beneath the rear of the truck.
Firefighters Had To Extricate The Driver of the Impala
Firefighters from the Victorville City Fire Department responded to the scene and worked to extricate the Impala’s driver. Paramedics transported the individual to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by CHP’s Victorville station.
Authorities urge drivers to stay vigilant, practice defensive driving, and obey all traffic laws, especially when navigating near larger vehicles. Staying alert on the road is essential to preventing serious accidents.
