Rancho Cucamonga, CA (May 12, 2024) – Guillermo Velazquez is facing hit-and-run charges following a motorcycle accident on Etiwanda Avenue near Foothill Boulevard on the evening of May 12. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 8:21 p.m.
Authorities report that 45-year-old Guillermo Velazquez collided with a motorcycle carrying a 54-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman. After the crash, Velazquez fled the scene, leaving the motorcyclist and his passenger with serious injuries.
Paramedics Were Able To Transport The Motorcycle Riders To A Nearby Hospital With Serious Injuries
Paramedics arrived shortly after the crash and transported the injured pair to a nearby hospital for treatment. With the help of witnesses, deputies quickly identified Guillermo Velazquez as the suspect. However, he was not at his residence when police attempted to arrest him.

The following day, Guillermo Velazquez turned himself in to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department. He has been charged with felony hit-and-run and is currently held at the West Valley Detention Center.
