1 Injured After Suspect Crashes Car into Pole During Police Chase in Fresno

Fresno, CA (April 22, 2024) – A suspect sustained injuries following a police chase that ended in a crash at the intersection of Clovis Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident began around 2:30 a.m. on Monday when Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over a suspect at Clinton and Cedar. For reasons not yet disclosed, the driver failed to comply and instead fled, initiating a police pursuit.

After The Crash Paramedics Transported The Suspect To Community Regional Medical Center

The chase culminated moments later when the suspect’s vehicle struck a curb at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Clovis Avenue, subsequently colliding with a pole. Following the crash, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the suspect to Community Regional Medical Center. The extent of the suspect’s injuries remains unknown.
