South Los Angeles, CA (November 28, 2023) – In the early hours of Sunday morning, a wrong-way accident on Harbor Freeway left at least 2 individuals injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Dodge Charger Entered Northbound Lanes And Quickly Collided With Another Vehicle
The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on November 26 when, for reasons still under investigation, a southbound Dodge Charger entered the northbound lanes in the vicinity of Exposition Boulevard. Tragically, the sedan collided head-on with another vehicle near Century Boulevard.
Emergency response teams swiftly arrived at the scene and transported the injured parties to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. As of now, the conditions of the individuals remain unknown.
In order to facilitate clearing operations, responders temporarily closed the affected roadway, reopening it at 4:21 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol has taken charge of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident. Additional information will be released by officers as it becomes available.
