Woman Identified as Person Killed in Crash in Camarillo at Mission Oaks Blvd.
CAMARILLO, CA (April 19, 2021) – Pilar Pizarro was identified by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office as the person who was killed in Camarillo on Friday in a two-vehicle crash. The April 16 incident occurred close to where Mission Oaks Boulevard and Adolfo Road intersect, not far from the 101 Freeway.
The time was a little after 8:00 a.m., Camarillo Police said.
Two vehicles–described as a minivan and a box truck–collided. The minivan came to a stop on the curb.
A passenger in the minivan was killed in the crash. She was identified as Pizarro. Pizarro was a resident of Camarillo, 78 years old.
According to Shawn Holzberger, who is a senior deputy, three other people suffered injuries in the crash. The condition of the patients was described as stable. Their identities have not been reported.
