Driver Dies After Crashing into Pole in Santa Fe Springs
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (April 8, 2021) – Early in the morning on Thursday in Santa Fe Springs, a driver died after crashing into a pole. The April 8 incident occurred where Norwalk Boulevard and Telegraph Road intersect.
The time was roughly 2:00 a.m., Whittier Police said.
The vehicle–described only as an SUV–had been eastbound on Telegraph Road, according to police. The vehicle went out of the driver’s control, for reasons that are not known, and smashed into a light pole in the area.
Responders arrived and found the driver had died in the crash. His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
