Woman Identified as Victim Killed by Hit-and-run Driver in Fallbrook
FALLBROOK, CA (December 16, 2020) – Symone Conley was identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday as the victim who was struck and killed by a suspected hit-and-run driver. The December 10 incident occurred close to Conley’s home, reports say.
The time was roughly 5:00 p.m.
Conley had been out walking with her husband when a vehicle–described as a pickup truck–swerved from the traffic lane, went over the curb, and hit her from behind.
The driver stopped briefly and stayed in the vicinity, and then left the crash site, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Responders arrived to help. Conley died at the crash site. She was 60 years old.
The person who is alleged to have been driving the vehicle was arrested by authorities. He was identified as Pasqual Domingo Pasqual Cristobal, 36 years old and a resident of Fallbrook. The charges he was booked on include suspicion of DUI causing death, manslaughter, and felony hit-and-run, the California Highway Patrol said.
Investigators are continuing their work on the incident.
