Vehicle Smashes into Dino’s Deli Building on Main Street in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, CA (July 14, 2020) – On Friday in Santa Maria, a vehicle smashed into the building of a restaurant, causing damage. The July 10 incident occurred at 750 E. Main Street, where Dino’s Deli is located.
Reports say a vehicle–which has not been described–smashed into the building. According to reports, the person who was driving the vehicle is alleged to have stepped on the accelerator rather than the brake pedal.
Reports also say no one was hurt in the incident. The person who had been driving the vehicle has not been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
It is not known if there were passengers in the vehicle when the crash happened. Reports also do not say if patrons were in the building.
The owner of the building, and the owner of the business have not been identified in reports. The extent of damage to the building has not been described, though reports say boards were used to cover the damage to the building.
