Crash on Main Street in South Los Angeles Causes Critical Injuries
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 15, 2020) – On Saturday night in South Los Angeles, eight people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles. The June 13 incident occurred on Main Street in the 6700 block.
The time was roughly 9:00 p.m., Nicholas Prange said. Prange is a spokesperson with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Reports say two vehicles collided, but the manner in which the collision occurred has not been reported. The vehicles have not been described.
Responders arrived and found eight people had been injured. Three of the victims were injured critically, reports say.
Responders transported the injured people to the hospital for treatment. None of the victims have been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. It is not known who the driver of each vehicle was.
The types of injuries each person suffered is not known. Reports say three people are in critical condition, and five people are in fair condition.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened, and what factors contributed to it.
