Man Walking Across Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach is Struck and Killed
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 15, 2020) – On Wednesday night, a man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Huntington Beach. The May 13 incident occurred on Beach Boulevard near Ronald Drive.
The time was roughly 10:30 p.m., according to Joshua Page. Page is a sergeant with Huntington Beach Police.
Reports say a vehicle–described as a Toyota Prius–had been traveling south on Beach Boulevard. The vehicle hit the victim. It is not clear from reports exactly where the victim was walking, whether he was crossing the road or walking alongside it.
The pedestrian died. His identity has not been reported, including his name and age.
The person who had been driving the vehicle was identified as a man 19 years old and a resident of Huntington Beach. His name has not been reported.
