Crash on De Luz Road in Fallbrook Injures Seven People
FALLBROOK, CA (May 11, 2020) – On Saturday afternoon, a crash in Fallbrook injured seven people. The May 9 incident occurred on De Luz Road in the 1100 block.
The time was roughly a little after 2:00 p.m., John Choi said. Choi works with the North County Fire Department as a public information officer.
Responders arrived and found that seven people had been occupants of the crashed vehicle, and one person was trapped inside it. Responders worked to free the victim.
Responders transported two victims to Inland Valley Medical Center. According to Choi, the two people suffered injuries that were described as life threatening.
Five people suffered injuries that were described as not life threatening. Responders transported them to Palomar Medical Center. Their current condition is not known.
None of the people involved in the crash have been identified in reports. It is not known why the crash happened. Investigators are working to collect details and information to understand the factors that contributed to the accident.
