Driver Crashes Corvette into Cars Parked on Ulric Street in San Diego; Lands on BMW

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 3, 2020) –  Early in the morning on Tuesday, a driver crashed a Corvette into cars parked on a street in the Linda Vista area of San Diego. The March 3 incident occurred on Ulric Street in the 2300 block.

The time was roughly 3:00 a.m.

Reports say people in the neighborhood were awakened by noise, and saw a vehicle—described as a Corvette, red in color—had gone over a boulder. People said the person driving a Corvette continued to travel in the area to try to rid the vehicle of the rock, but struck a number of vehicles that were parked on the street instead.

As many as five vehicle were struck. Reports say the person driving the Corvette then went in reverse, and while backing, drove onto a BMW.

According to reports, people who witnessed the incident stopped the driver, who was attempting to drive off of the BMW.

Authorities arrived on scene, and responders transported the driver to a hospital. It is not known if the person was injured.

The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.

None of the owners of the vehicles that were struck have been identified in reports. Investigators are working to collect details and information regarding the incident.
