Car and Motorcycle Collide on Mission Gorge Road and Cottonwood Avenue in Santee
SANTEE, CA (February 27, 2020) – On Wednesday afternoon, a car and a motorcycle collided in Santee, causing injuries. The February 26 incident occurred where Cottonwood Avenue and Mission Gorge Road intersect.
The time was roughly a little after 4:30 p.m., the San Diego County Sheriff’s office said.
Reports say a car and a motorcycle collided, but the manner in which it happened, and the line of travel each had been following prior to crashing, has not been described.
Responders arrived and transported a victim to the hospital. The types of injuries the person suffered, and the current condition, is not known. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
It is not known from reports if anyone else was hurt in the incident. It is not clear if the motorcyclist and the driver were both injured. It is not known if there were any passengers involved in the crash.
Investigators are working to understand what factors contributed to the crash.
