Driver Who Exited Vehicle Following Crash on Highway 180 in Fresno is Killed by Passing Vehicle
FRESNO, CA (November 15, 2019) – On Monday night in Fresno, a driver who exited his vehicle following a crash on Highway 180 was struck and killed by a vehicle passing by. The November 11 incident occurred on the highway’s eastbound side, close to Highway 41.
The time was roughly a little before 10:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say the victim struck the median in the center of the highway. The vehicle became disabled, and the driver exited to look at it. A vehicle that was passing by struck the victim.
According to reports, the victim died from his injuries. His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The identity of the driver who struck the victim has not been reported.
After the initial crash, four other cars collided in the area, reports say. None of the vehicles have been described, and the drivers in the subsequent crash have not been identified.
