NATIONAL CITY, CA (September 5, 2019) – On Tuesday night, vandals using a chemical damaged vehicles that were parked on the street in National City. The September 3 incident occurred on Division Street in the 500 block.
The time was most likely during the night on Tuesday.
Reports say residents discovered their vehicles had been damaged on Wednesday morning. The person or people responsible for the act used a chemical, which may have been acid, to damage four vehicles.
The types of vehicles damaged have not been reported, and the owners of all of the vehicles involved have not been identified.
Investigators are looking for the person or people who carried out the act. At this time, no other details have been reported. Authorities are continuing to work on gathering facts, details, and evidence.
