Collision Near Beach Boulevard in Westminster Kills Pedestrian
WESTMINSTER, CA (June 12, 2019) – A collision in Westminster early in the morning on Sunday killed a pedestrian. The June 9 incident occurred close to where Washington Avenue and Beach Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 4:20 a.m., according to the Westminster Police Department.
Reports say responders arrived and found a man who was injured. The man died at the accident site. The identity of the victim, including his name and city of residence, has not been reported. Investigators, who were seeking to identify the victim, described him as Asian. He was 62 years old, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
According to reports, investigators think two vehicles may have struck the man. The person who had been driving the first vehicle to hit the man remained at the accident site with the victim. It is not clear from reports, but a second vehicle may also have been involved.
