Semi-truck Driver Damages Property and Flees Scene Near Highway 154 in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CA (May 3, 2019) – A person driving a semi-truck and hauling a trailer damaged property while traveling on a private driveway in Santa Barbara. The April 28 incident occurred close to Highway 154, on Stagecoach Road.
The time was roughly 2:00 a.m.
Reports say the California Highway Patrol is searching for the vehicle involved in the incident, and the driver who fled from the site. The California Highway Patrol described the vehicle as a Volvo semi-truck, white in color. It has a number “121” close to the headlight on the right side. The headlight on the right may be damaged. The license plate of the truck has what looks like “11” as the two last digits.
The person driving the semi-truck has not been described. It is not known from reports what type of damage the incident caused to the owner’s property. The owner of the property has not been identified.
