NEWHALL, CA (April 16, 2019) – A big rig and a motor home collided on Highway 126 in the morning on Monday in Newhall, causing damage but not injuring anyone. The April 15 accident occurred where the highway intersects with Commerce Center Drive, in an area west of I-5.
The time was roughly 9:15 a.m., according to Josh Greengard. Greengard is an officer with the California Highway Patrol in Newhall.
Reports say the two vehicles collided and blocked one of the lanes in the intersection. Good Samaritans stopped to assist the people involved in the crash, reports say.
The big rig had not contained anything at the time of the crash, and was reported to be empty. The crash damaged guardrail. Reports do not describe the extent of the damage to the two vehicles.
